Everton remain in talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane over the potential for both players to extend their stay at the club.
The pair are among a swathe of the first team squad whose contracts are due to expire at the end of this month. Everton said the club was continuing to “liaise" with their representatives.
Everton also confirmed new deals had been offered to Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye, while it has been made official that Mason Holgate will be released at the end of the month.

Everton entered this summer with more than a dozen players on deals due to expire. Most of those have been resolved, with loanee Carlos Alcaraz becoming the first permanent signing of the summer, while Armando Broja, Jesper Lindstrom, Orel Mangala and Jack Harrison returned to their parent clubs.
The departures of Joao Virginia, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Asmir Begovic and Ashley Young had already been confirmed, while Neal Maupay’s loan deal to Marseille contained an obligation for it to be made permanent.
David Moyes had made clear he was keen for Coleman to remain in the playing squad while the ECHO has previously reported talks were progressing with Gueye. But the futures of Keane and Calvert-Lewin remain more uncertain as the close season continues.
Meanwhile, in the Under-21s, Owen Barker, Jack Butler, Luke Butterfield, Billy Crellin, Matthew Apter, Zan-Luk Leban and Jack Tierney will leave Everton this month.
Fraser Barnsley, Callum Bates, Eli Campbell, Coby Ebere, Isaac Heath and Jack Patterson have been offered new deals, while scholars George Finney, Harvey Foster, Luca Davis, Aled Thomas and Joshua van Schoor have been offered first professional contracts.
A club spokesman said: “Everyone at Everton thanks the departing players for their commitment and service and wishes them all the best for the future.”
