Wrexham are showing interest in a summer move for out-of-contract West Ham forward Danny Ings, Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has revealed.
The Red Dragons have reportedly identified the former England international as a potential striker option and have already held talks with Ings’ representatives over a possible offseason arrival.
The £120,000-a-week 32-year-old striker is set to leave West Ham upon the expiry of his contract this month, alongside fellow veterans Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski and Vladimir Coufal.
Ings is believed to be attracting interest from several Championship clubs ahead of his departure from the London Stadium, including Watford.

According to Joseph, Wrexham have explored the possibility of signing both Ings and Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies this summer:
However, a move for Davies is now off the table, as the Welsh international saw his contract extended by Tottenham until June 2026 last week.
West Ham, meanwhile, have already confirmed Ings’ upcoming departure, two-and-a-half years after he joined from Aston Villa in January 2023.
The three-cap England international made 69 appearances during his time at the London Stadium, scoring five goals and providing five assists.
He made just two starts across all competitions this season and registered three goal contributions in the Premier League.
West Ham are expected to bring in a new forward following Ings' departure and have earmarked Bournemouth ace Marcus Tavernier as a potential option.
