Tottenham are closing in on appointing Brentford boss Thomas Frank as their new manager, Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Europa League winners are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations with the Danish tactician, who is expected to arrive as Ange Postecoglou’s successor this summer.
Frank is now set to end his seven-year spell with Brentford and take on a new challenge, having guided the Bees to a 10th-place Premier League finish last season.
The 51-year-old is believed to have a £10m release clause written into his contract, which Brentford are reportedly demanding be paid in full.
