Joe Gomez may be preparing to say goodbye to Anfield, with several top-flight sides in the Premier League lining up for his signature.
Liverpool could be set to part ways with one of their longest-serving players this summer. Joe Gomez, who joined the Reds back in 2015, is attracting attention from a host of Premier League clubs. And with the club open to selling, the England defender might just be packing his bags.
The 28-year-old has seen his time at Liverpool filled with highs, lows, and some frustrating injury spells.
He’s been part of a squad that lifted the Champions League and won the Premier League (twice), but this past season saw him play limited minutes.
Now, with new faces and fresh tactics arriving under Arne Slot, Gomez could be heading for the exit.

Eight Premier League clubs in the race to sign Joe Gomez
Gomez has no shortage of suitors. According to reports (via Empire of the Kop, eight clubs are watching his situation closely. These include Newcastle, Aston Villa, Everton, West Ham, and Bournemouth, as well as promoted sides Leeds, Burnley, and Sunderland.
Liverpool’s owners, FSG, have reportedly slapped a £25.3 million price tag on the defender. Still, clubs believe they might be able to get him for less. And it seems Gomez might be open to a new challenge after a decade on Merseyside.
Though he didn’t feature much last season, Gomez still earned praise from Slot, who once called his display against Brighton “outstanding.” He remains a player with strong versatility — able to slot in at center-back or full-back — which makes him an attractive option in a market hungry for defensive depth.
The move would end a long chapter for Gomez, who’s yet to score a goal in 241 appearances for Liverpool. Maybe a new club will finally help him break that duck — defenders have dreams too!
