A historic FA Cup win and a Premier League-era record points total were the perfect reward for a campaign that continued to deliver memorable moments right up to the very end in May.
But this success didn't happen by accident. There was plenty of hard work behind the scenes, both on and off the training pitch, over the previous 10 months.
