Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed he will stay with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, dismissing speculation about a potential move.
Rumours were fueled by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, suggesting Ronaldo might join a club competing in this summer’s Club World Cup.
Ronaldo had previously hinted at a possible departure in a social media post, saying “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written.”
Speaking after Portugal’s win over Spain in the UEFA Nations League final, Ronaldo clarified, “Future? Nothing will change. Al Nassr? Yes.”
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in December 2022 after a controversial exit from Manchester United, with his contract initially set to expire this summer.
