Selection calls: Thomas Tuchel will change things up as England head to the City Ground to face Senegal in a friendly
Saka is fit now, though, and will be in the team when England take on Senegal in a friendly in Nottingham on Tuesday night.
“I love coming to the England camps and playing for England,” Saka said. “It’s been a bit of a frustrating year but I’m here now. I’m really excited to play, so hopefully I’m in the starting XI.
“After the last game of the season I had a little strain. Fair play to England, they managed me quite well during the week.
“I was only able to do one or two sessions, so the manager made the decision that he would leave me out and then have me involved tomorrow.”

England boss Tuchel will make changes to his team after the tame win over Andorra and a number of players will be hoping to get minutes.
Ivan Toney is one of those, although Tuchel strongly hinted during his pre-match press conference that captain Harry Kane would start up front again.
Dean Henderson or James Trafford may get the chance to impress in goal, while Myles Lewis-Skelly should be one of those that comes into the defence.
In midfield, Declan Rice is likely to start after only playing the final nine minutes against Andorra.
Morgan Gibbs-White could play alongside Rice and the Nottingham Forest midfielder would relish the chance to play for England at the City Ground.
