GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - It was a fun weekend of pickleball for everyone who joined the Donald Driver Foundation Pickleball Classic in Allouez.
Action 2 News anchor and Small Towns host Emerson Lehmann had a chance to play against the Packers Hall of Famer on Saturday.
Emerson was one of roughly 200 players and he got to go toe-to-toe against Driver.
Emerson said his goal was to win every one of his matches but he was admittedly starstruck playing against an idol whose autographed poster once adorned his wall, so in that match he just wanted to enjoy every moment.
All of the proceeds from the tournament benefited the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay.
Driver owns Pickleball Kingdom in Menominee Falls and plans to expand into Green Bay next year.
