Leeds United are considering a move for Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic this summer, according to The Guardian.
In his second season at Elland Road, Daniel Farke guided Leeds United back to the Premier League as centurions, winning the Championship title with 100 points and beating Burnley to the silverware on goal difference. The Whites enjoyed a phenomenal campaign, one that has seen them return to the English top flight.
Leeds have, understandably, already been linked with a number of incomings as they look to break the recent worrying cycle of promoted teams making an immediate return to the Championship. Reinforcements will be needed across the pitch, but it appears that the Whites are now keen on bolstering their attacking ranks.

The Guardian have reported that Leeds are keen on Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic. Having been with the club since 2023, Kristovic enjoyed a campaign that bettered his debut season as Lecce avoided relegation to Serie B by just three points.

A Montenegro international who has earned comparisons to Dusan Vlahovic with his style of play, Krstovic would certainly have a place within the Leeds first team. Championship Golden Boot winner Joel Piroe has earned a chance to play in the Premier League but elsewhere, Patrick Bamford was linked with a departure from Elland Road amidst the 2024/25 season and looks likely to leave.
Not only that, but youngster Mateo Joseph has interest from Europe and while the Spaniard is a promising player, he may struggle for minutes in the Premier League, having started most games in Leeds’ promotion-winning campaign on the bench. As such, Krstovic, who has been dubbed "extraordinary," would be an ideal signing for Leeds, one who is accustomed to fighting relegation as the club prepare for an immensely important season.
