3 Key Players To Watch At Buccaneers' Minicamp

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to open mandatory minicamp this week - an important one under head coach Todd Bowles.

After winning the NFC South in each of the last four seasons, expectations this season are Super Bowl or bust for the Bucs. They have plenty of talent to get there. It's just a matter of putting it all together.

As the mandatory minicamp is set to kick off, there are three players to keep an eye on for Tampa Bay over the next week.

Linebacker Haason Reddick

Is Reddick finally going to show up at a team activity after signing a one-year free agent deal in the offseason? That's the big question for Tampa Bay this offseason now. When healthy and motivated, Reddick can be one of the best edge rushers in the sport. It will be up to Bowles to keep him motivated throughout the season.

Safety Shilo Sanders

Few players have helped themselves more than Buccaneers' undrafted free agent safety Shilo Sanders. Veterans like Antoine Winfield Jr. have given rave reviews about Sanders since he walked into the team facility. UDFAs are rarely guaranteed roster spots early in their careers, but if Sanders continues to impress like this, it's clear that the Buccaneers will have a role for him.

Wide Receiver Jalen McMillan

McMillan was a big winner from the Buccaneers' offense last season. The injury to Chris Godwin opened an opportunity for the Washington rookie, and he fit the bill very well. This season, McMillan is competing with first-round rookie Emeka Egbuka for playing time. Tampa Bay has all the incentive in the world to give the Ohio State rookie more of a chance on the field, so McMillan will need to continue to have excellent practices in order to keep his role.
