Everton are preparing for fruitful times at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with a transfer for Manchester City playmaker James McAtee.

The Toffees were struggling under Sean Dyche, but David Moyes’ return to the Premier League saw them finish 13th in the table.

With Abdoulaye Doucoure leaving Goodison Park once his contract expires at the end of June, it isn’t surprising to see the Blues wanting midfield reinforcements this summer.

Man City are open to McAtee’s sale in the coming months, and the Merseyside outfit have high hopes in their pursuit of the 22-year-old.

It’s been claimed that the Merseyside outfit are optimistic about their future, with the Hill Dickinson Stadium helping them to entice prospective signings.

Moyes will hope The Friedkin Group (TFG) back him this summer to push further up the Premier League table next season.

TFG should make McAtee statement at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Carlos Alcaraz’s loan move from Flamengo has been made permanent after some impressive performances in recent months.

Idrissa Gueye will also stay at the Toffees beyond the current campaign, after forming a decent partnership with James Garner in the engine room.

The Blues should still look to add more quality in depth if TFG are ambitious about achieving success at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Orel Mangala played a significant role at Everton before sustaining an injury and returning to Olympique Lyon.

Tim Iroegbunam has shown glimpses of his talent at Goodison Park this season, but fitness issues have hampered his prospects.

McAtee has struggled for regular game time under Pep Guardiola, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave Man City soon, giving the Toffees an incentive to make an approach.

The 22-year-old is highly-regarded and would arguably be an exciting addition at the Merseyside outfit if they can get a deal over the line.
