LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is easily one of the most accomplished basketball players of all time.
He has reached goals that other iconic players only dreamed of, and he’s not done yet.
Still, some critics say that James lacks a “bag” and doesn’t have a deep well of special skills on the court.
Speaking on his “Mind the Game” podcast, James addressed this slight against him.
“I see it all the time. I’ll be on social media and like, ‘LeBron has no bag.’ I’m sitting here, I got 50 billion points with no bag,” James said, via Legion Hoops.

James hasn’t really scored 50 billion points, of course, but he has set an all-time NBA record with more than 50,400.
For most people, the claim that James doesn’t have a bag is ridiculous because how could he possibly get this far by not having one?
But the criticisms against James are out there, even if they are outnumbered by the accolades.
James and his Lakers were pushed out of the playoffs in the first round this year, and they don’t want that to happen again.
They wish to reach the Finals at least one more time before James retires, and that will only be possible if he keeps playing at a high level.
That means he will have to go to his bag, pull out his special tools, and silence the critics once again.
James has heard it all during his many years in the league, and he usually doesn’t let it bother him.
But he does feel that some claims against him are ludicrous, as do his many fans.
