Arseblog News understands that Arsenal are interested in a move for Liverpool vice captain Taylor Hinds on a free transfer when her contract with the Reds expires on June 30. Hinds came through Arsenal’s academy and made an appearance for the Gunners in the Conti Cup in 2017.
The full-back left for Everton in 2018 before joining Liverpool in 2020 and was made vice captain in 2023. The Jamaican international is a versatile, WSL ready player who can operate in a number of roles, including both full-back roles and in midfield. The fact that she is not competing at the Euros and her contract is expiring means any deal could be advanced reasonably quickly after June 30.
We understand that Arsenal are keen to move for the 26-year-old to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025-26 season. Hinds can operate in both full-back positions and getting dedicated right-back cover is difficult given the prominence of Emily Fox, so a more versatile option who can offer right-back cover and play in other positions was always most likely with Laura Wienroither likely to leave the club this summer.
