Darwin Nunez reportedly wants to leave Liverpool this summer, as many clubs are heavily interested in him.
The Uruguayan forward joined the club in 2022 from Portuguese side Benfica for a record €85 million transfer fee. He was expected to achieve great things at Anfield, but he has not met those expectations over his three seasons.
In his first season, he faced comparisons to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland but failed to achieve the same level of consistency as the Norwegian.
Darwin Nunez’s performance declined last season, as he scored only seven goals in 47 appearances across all competitions during Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning campaign in 2024/25.
He also lost his starting position under new manager Arne Slot, who joined Liverpool last season after Jurgen Klopp’s departure.
According to the latest reports from Santi Aouna, Darwin Nunez is now open to joining Saudi giants Al-Hilal.

Darwin Nunez could join Al-Hilal this summer
Santi Aouna reports that the Saudi club Al-Hilal contacted the forward in the last few hours, but it has not yet made an official offer.
It is still too early to say whether Nunez will consider a move to Al-Hilal. He is only 25 years old and will turn 26 later this month.
Considering his age and potential, he may still choose to stay in Europe and continue playing top-level football. While no official proposals have been made by European clubs. Several teams have reportedly identified him as a summer target.
Nunez still has time to decide his next move. However, his future at Anfield appears uncertain, with reports suggesting that Arne Slot does not see him as part of his plans for the upcoming season.
