Cork's only American football team is back for its yearly family fun day - and it looks set to be better than ever! Kids go free for the brilliant day out, which will not only include a live American football game, but food trucks, face painting, bouncy castles, and cheerleading performances.
The Cork Admirals have invited the Belfast Knights to Cork for the big day, as the MTU Stadium is given the NFL treatment this Sunday, June 15 (ideal day out for Father's Day!)
The American Football Fun Day attracts hundreds of spectators every year, and the Admirals are expecting big crowds as always.
While smallies will have a ball with three huge bouncy castles and face painters, the main event will be the live game between two of Ireland's best American football clubs - and the Admirals will be hoping for plenty of support from a home crowd.

For an energetic half-time show, look forward to a cheerleading showcase from Montfort College of Performing Arts. And if you fancy yourself as the next Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes, there will be touchdown contests to get your hands on the ball and give one of Ireland's fastest-growing sports for yourself.
As always, there's a great selection of local food vendors taking part, including Blackened Ginger BBQ, Lucha Libre Mexican, Volcano Pizza and crepes and coffee trucks - and the Red Bull events crew have also confirmed they will be around for the fun too.
It should be a great day out for the whole family, with kids under 12 going FREE. Entry for students is €5, and for adults, it is €10. Doors open at 1 p.m., the game starts at 2 p.m., and it wraps up at 5 p.m. Tickets will be available on entry, or you can find tickets from Eventbrite online HERE to avoid disappointment.
The Cork Admirals are one of Ireland's leading American Football clubs and they play in the top-tier American Football Ireland Premier Division. The senior team was national champions in 2018 and has competed in the post-season playoffs every year since 2017. Many Cork players and coaches have even gone on to represent the Irish National American Football team.
