Andy Irving finally made his international debut for Scotland - in a 4-0 win over European minnows Liechtenstein.
The West Ham United midfielder made his international bow, at the age of 25, as a 59th-minute replacement for Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn with the Scots leading by three goals to nil through efforts from Che Adams (2) and George Hirst.
And east London's Irving more than played his part as Steve Clarke's side went on to add a fourth by the final whistle, with Adams completing his hat=trick in added-on time.
The win ensures Scotland go into the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers on the back of a morale-boosting victory, with their next opponents being Denmark on 5 September.
