The NBA is a little less than a month away from being able to negotiate and sign free agents, but it's projecting to be a subpar free agency class. Stars with player options like LeBron James, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving are expected to either opt into their deals or sign new ones to stay with their respective team.
There also isn't a lot of available money to toss at free agents. A lot of teams are restricted by the tax aprons. But that won't stop teams from searching for upgrades.

A name that has been connected with the Golden State Warriors is Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez. His three-point shooting and interior defense would be a massive boost to the Warriors even if he's 37 years old. Matt Moore of Action Network provided an update on Lopez's situation with the Bucks.
"I’m not expecting the [Bucks'] roster to look the way it does now. The team is likely to retain Kevin Porter Jr. and most everyone I’ve spoken to assume Brook Lopez is gone. Lopez might be one of the bigger names on the market.”
There are a few teams who could show interest in the Nets' all-time leading scorer. The Los Angeles Lakers have a dire need at center after trading Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Doncic.
Lopez's fit with the Warriors would be perfect, especially off the court. He fits the team's current timeline with older stars like Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler, but he could also be a valuable mentor to Trayce Jackson-Davis and Quinten Post.
