Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim has already improved his attacking options ahead of next season, thanks to Matheus Cunha completing a £62.5million switch from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the Portuguese tactician remains determined to acquire further reinforcements in the coming months.
A second bid worth in excess of £60million is set to be lodged for Mbeumo, after an initial £55million offer was turned down by Premier League counterparts Brentford, and Manchester United have also set their sights on recruiting Gyokeres after missing out on silverware and European qualification.

Manchester United are ready to accelerate a move for Gyokeres if they are increasingly concerned that there is a threat of being beaten to his signature, according to GMS sources, as he has been earmarked as their first-choice arrival after potentially getting the deal for Mbeumo over the line.
The Red Devils are facing stiff competition to sign the marksman and, with Sporting open to sanctioning his departure for up to £70million during the summer transfer window, there is ongoing uncertainty over where he will be plying his trade by the time next season gets underway.

Although the Sweden international still has three years remaining on a contract which allows him to pocket more than £60,000-per-week when bonuses are triggered, the Red Devils have been given hope of being able to convince him to embark on a fresh challenge thanks to Sporting's willingness to do business.
