The upcoming NBA offseason is expected to be one of the wildest ones in recent memory. Even before it has fully begun, multiple star players have been heavily discussed in different trade rumors.
The two who have been talked about the most are Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns. It remains to be seen if either will be moved, but multiple teams have been linked to them already.

Two teams that can make a move for either are the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets. Each has plenty of young players and deep draft assets that could intrigue either side to make a deal.
With all the rumors swirling around, both the Spurs and Rockets have been linked to making a big draft night trade. NBA writer Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report named each as two of the more likely teams to be active on draft night.
Houston Rockets
The Rockets have been eyeing each player, with a plan to push themselves forward in the Western Conference. After finishing as the No. 2 seed in the West this year, Houston wants to become even more of a threat.
Rockets insider Kelly Iko of The Athletic linked Houston with Durant a few days ago.
"Since the conclusion of the season, Houston has fielded several calls from Phoenix, who have since gradually lowered their asking price for Durant, those sources said."
Iko also mentioned Antetokounmpo as a target for Houston if he were to become available.
"Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo remains a target, team sources said, but there has been recent uncertainty in the past week on Antetokounmpo's actual availability."
San Antonio Spurs
As for the Spurs, they hold the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft this year, and it could be dangled to land a player like Antetokounmpo. San Antonio likely wouldn't move the pick for Durant due to his age, but the Spurs remain a strong landing spot for either player.

The Spurs have multiple guards on the roster already, and moving someone like Stephen Castle could open room across the roster. Adding a star forward could create a lethal trio with center Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox.
Many around the league see the Spurs as a team to monitor this summer, as they try to get back to the postseason. Both the addition of Durant or Antetokounmpo could help them reach that goal next year.
