Arsenal join Chelsea in race for Man United star

Chelsea hold a long-term interest in one Man United star. They are now joined by their london rivals Arsenal in the race. Mikel Arteta’s men are said to have made an enquiry about the player.

The star in question here is Alejandro Garnacho. He is Man United’s academy graduate and had played well for them in recent season. But, in the last season he started to fall down the pecking order. The Red Devils are now ready to part ways with him. Infact, they were open to sell him in the January window itself.

Chelsea were showing strong interest in Garnacho in January. But, they were unable to advance any further in the deal. The Blues are still in need of left winger and Garnacho is still on their radar. They view the Argentine as a perfect fit for their requirements.

Man United are desperate to sell Garnacho and have many clubs interested in him. They are bringing in new players and are in need of funds. The Argentine is on the radar of Napoli since January whereas United’s former boss Erik Ten Hag wants him at Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal join the race for Alejandro Garnacho

According to TEAMtalk, Gunners have now made an enquiry about Garnacho. This has made the race for the Argentine even more interesting. As per the report, United are open to let Garnacho leave for €60 million this summer. Arsenal can surely afford him as he will be long term investment.

Gunners need a left winger as both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have been underperforming. The are said to let one of them leave this summer to raise funds. Most likely it will be Trossard due to his age and contract situation. Garnacho will be a very good addition on this side but it is still uncertain wheter they will be able to sign him for not.
