Patrick Mahomes Had No Words for Kansas City Star Amid Offseason

The Kansas City sports scene has received plenty of attention over the past several years, much of which has been caused by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Mahomes has led the Chiefs to three straight Super Bowl appearances.

As he prepares for his ninth season with the Chiefs, having already led the team to five AFC titles and three Super Bowl wins, Mahomes has spent some time watching over other sports in Kansas City.

Kansas City Royals star Jac Caglianone is currently playing in his first season in the major leagues, having been called up in June.

After a handful of games, the once best prospect in baseball, took to social media, sharing his gratitude for the opportunity he has with the Royals.

Upon the release of the post, Patrick Mahomes took to social media, sharing a kind note for Caglianone.

"💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽," Mahomes posted.

Jac Caglianone has now played six games since being called up by the Kansas City Royals. The designated hitter is currently batting .240 with a .560 OPS.

Before his professional career, Caglianone played for Florida at the collegiate level. He was drafted by the Royals with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.

Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes posted 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts. Mahomes ranked No. 1 in the league in touchdown passes and No. 7 in yards.

The Chiefs quarterback led his team to a 17-3 record, defeating the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason.

After winning the AFC title game, the fifth conference championship of Patrick Mahomes' career, the Chiefs suffered a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
