Manchester United are contemplating a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports.
The Serbian international has a year left on his contract, and speaking to United In Focus, journalist Graeme Bailey said that Vlahovic’s availability for a low price makes him an attractive target:
“I am also told not to discount Dusan Vlahovic – the appeal of him is that he could move for just £20 million this summer.”

Juve have failed to reach an agreement with Vlahovic over a new deal so it is almost certain that he will leave the Serie A side before the transfer window closes in August.
Vlahovic has been linked with a move to the Premier League before
The 25-year-old was a key target for Arsenal during the January 2022 transfer window when he was still at Fiorentina but the forward ended up joining Juventus.
Vlahovic has been linked on and off with other Premier League teams since then. It was reported last year that Chelsea were offered the player in exchange for Romelu Lukaku, while Newcastle have been mentioned as a potential suitor as well.
Man United are weighing up their options
Vlahovic is just one of several strikers who have been linked with a switch to Old Trafford over the past few weeks. The club were hopeful of beating the competition to secure the signature of Liam Delap but he opted for Chelsea instead.
Since then, other names have been considered. In addition to Vlahovic, Crystal Palace’s Jean Philippe Mateta, Fiorentina’s Moise Kean and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres are reportedly among the alternatives.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that fresh talks have taken place with Sporting for Gyokeres but he will cost at least £55m, which is a fee that the Red Devils can’t really afford without player sales.
