Woah, woah, woah… why is everyone losing their minds?
I’ll tell you why… because Arsenal have a history of going slow and this summer, it would appear everyone else is moving very fast.
I don’t think you should worry yourself. The planning process didn’t start last week. Plenty of calls will have been made, some deals will be agreed that we don’t know about yet, and there are some players who have come onto the market that would represent opportunistic moves that we’ll just have to wait in line for.
Things we have going for us that other clubs don’t: We’re Arsenal. We might not have first pick, but I’ll tell you this — the best players in the world want to be coached under Arteta because he has a reputation for being a developmental operator people love playing under.
