Former Kings' Star Turns Heads After Fan Interactions in Puerto Rico

While the 2024-25 season is nearing a close as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers battle it out in the NBA Finals, there are still other professional leagues around the world still in the middle of their season.

One of these is the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league in Puerto Rico where former Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins is currently playing.

Of course, Cousins played 11 seasons in the NBA, seven of which came in Sacramento where he was a three-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection.

Cousins was then traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017 and he then spent time with the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks before his NBA career came to a close in 2022 after one season with the Denver Nuggets.

Since his career in the NBA came to an end, the 34-year-old center has played in multiple leagues around the world and he currently finds himself in Puerto Rico playing for the Guaynabo Mets.

On Monday night, Cousins Mets had a game where the former Kings star was ejected and then got into multiple altercations with fans.

It all began when a fan sitting courtside began trash talking Cousins where the star center had to be held back.

Cousins was then ejected from the game and as he was heading into the tunnel, fans began throwing food and drinks at the former NBA star, causing him to be held back by multiple people as he tried to go after the fans.

This was not a good look for Cousins or the fans in the arena and luckily another Malice in the Palace did not take place as Cousins eventually found him way to the locker room.
