Details of Manchester United’s new kits appear to have been leaked online
Manchester United fans are hoping that the 2025/26 season can mark the start of an exciting new chapter for the club with plenty of new recruits as they look to bounce back from one of their worst seasons of the modern era.
The Red Devils ended last term in 15th, marking their lowest finish since 1974 while they also endured early exits in both domestic cup competitions after winning silverware in their previous two seasons under Erik ten Hag.
For most of the campaign, United’s saving grace proved to be their performances in Europe but when it came to the final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao, Ruben Amorim’s players failed to rise to the occasion as they fell to a lacklustre 1-0 defeat in the Basque Country.
The Old Trafford giants are expected to have a completely new-look team for next season with plenty of outgoings and a whole host of incomings as they look to fit together the pieces of Amorim’s favoured 3-4-2-1 formation.
Meanwhile, United fans will be also treated to three new kits for the 2025/26 season, which they hope will see brighter days than what they’ve witnessed over the last 12 months.
But what can United fans expect from their new kits, when are they released and how much are they expected to cost? Here’s everything we know so far ahead of what promises to be an intriguing 2025/26 campaign at the Theatre of Dreams.
Man Utd home and away kit latest
The Manchester United 2025-26 home kit will be officially launched on Thursday 12th June 2025. According to Footy Headlines, the home shirt is predominantly red with white logos and features a black collar and sleeve cuffs with white trim.
The 2025/26 home kit is believed to feature an Old Trafford-inspired sleeve graphic as a tribute to the iconic stadium. This is reminiscent of the design used between 1996 and 1998 when stars such as Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Gary Neville donned the shirt during Alex Ferguson’s heyday.
Meanwhile, the away kit features a white and light lavender colour scheme with dark purple accents, incorporating a snowflake pattern. It’s believed to be inspired by the 90-92 away shirt when the Red Devils won the League Cup and European Cup Winners Cup in a period which acted as the catalyst for the success that would follow as Fergie’s team began to win trophies on a more regular basis after a tricky period in the 1980s.
The away kit is expected to be released in either June or July but as of yet no official date has been confirmed by the club.
Man Utd third kit latest
According to Footy Headlines, the United third kit will take another nod towards the 1990s with a design similar to the 1993/94 season when United lifted their second consecutive league title to mark the start of the Premier League era.
The new third kit is expected to be predominantly black with striking yellow and blue accents, mirroring the original design from three decades ago.
Supporters on the website Football Kit Archive have awarded the new shirt a four-star rating so far after more than 500 votes, and the reaction on social media has been largely positive.
All three kits, according to Goal, are expected to cost around £80 for adults, with the authentic being priced more expensively at around £110. Adding player names on the back of shirts will also incur extra costs.
