Rachel Nichols became of a familiar name in the NBA and NFL worlds during her days as a sideline reporter with ESPN before parting ways with the company in early 2022.
Nichols covered big time events including Monday Night Football and the NBA Finals, endearing herself to millions of fans along the way.
On Monday, Nichols announced her latest career move, one that is likely to come as a surprise to the fans who know her best.
She admitted she has a blind spot in regards to her latest venture, while offering up information on where fans can check it out.

"Spending the day doing a guest spot on Apple TV's 'Your Friends and Neighbors,'" Nichols wrote on X.
"Fortunately, I am playing myself, since I cannot act."
Fans both well known and otherwise reacted to Nichols' latest news.
"!!!!" senior NBA reporter John Hollinger of The Athletic wrote, sharing his surprise.

The show stars Joe Hamm, Olivia Munn, Amanda Peet, Mark Tallman and others. It centers around a hedge fund member who steals from his neighbors' homes in an affluent neighborhood only to discover their secrets.
