Victor Lindelof could potentially sign for Everton soon as The Friedkin Group (TFG) make preparations for the ongoing transfer window.

David Moyes may lose Michael Keane at the end of June despite the Toffees being in talks with the centre-back over a new contract.

Jarrad Branthwaite is attracting interest from Tottenham, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues will be able to keep him this summer.

Lindelof has emerged as a target at Goodison Park in recent months and could possibly be one of the first signings to start the new era at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton can get Lindelof on free transfer after Man United exit

Man United have announced their retained list on 9 June, with Lindelof set to become a free agent.

The 30-year-old is in the final few months of his contract at Old Trafford and will not be given a new deal.

Lindelof’s record at Man United this season.

TFG now have the chance to complete a bargain transfer for the Sweden international, making him the first signing this summer if an agreement can be reached soon.

Moyes will arguably want reinforcements at the Toffees in the ongoing window to push further up the table after a 13th-place finish this season, and the veteran defender could potentially be a great addition to the squad.

Lindelof to bring experience to Hill Dickinson Stadium

Moyes will once again rely on James Tarkowski once he returns from injury after a stellar campaign at Goodison Park.

The ex-Burnley defender and Branthwaite will undoubtedly continue to be the Scottish manager’s preferred partnership at the Blues if they both stay this summer.

Lindelof’s arrival should only be to add depth to the backline, and his contract situation provides the Friedkins a great opportunity to do so without spending much resources.

Everton arguably need to reinforce several positions in the ongoing transfer window, with a new number nine a priority.

Moyes could be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the start of next season, with the English centre-forward open to an adventure elsewhere.

With Armando Broja leaving and Yousseff Chermiti’s consistent fitness issues, a reliable goalscorer should be pursued by the Toffees in the coming months.

A new midfielder must also be signed after Abdoulaye Doucoure’s exit, with Manchester City playmaker James McAtee attracting interest from the Blues.

TFG have a massive transfer window ahead, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Merseyside outfit will line up next season.
