Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo after they had a bid turned down for Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo. Semenyo has been with the Cherries since arriving from Bristol City in January 2023.

In 89 appearanes across competitions, the 25-year-old has had modest returns of 22 goals and 10 assists. That includes 13 goals and seven assists in 42 games across competitions.

Despite being contracted to the Cherries till 2029, Semenyo has attracted interest from the Premier League. As per Sky Sports, he's the subject of interest of Tottenham Hotspur and United.

It's pertinent to note that the Red Devils saw a £55 million bid for Mbuema - their primary target - rejected. While Ruben Amorim's side are expected to return with an improved offer, they are also contemplating other options like Semenyo.

Sky Sports has reported that Semenyo is also on the radar of Premier League champions Liverpool, as he looks to play in the UEFA Champions League, but United - who won't have European football next season - aren't out of the fray.

Mbuemo, also, 25, has been with the Bees since arriving from Troyes six summers ago. He has contributed 70 goals and 51 assists in 242 games across competitions, including 20 strikes and eight assists in 38 outings in the Premier League, where Brentford finished tenth.
