Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks set to leave Everton this summer.
The 28-year-old made 26 Premier League appearances, notching three goals and one assist in an injury-hit campaign.
His contract with the Toffees expires on 30 June and it seems inevitable that both parties will decide to move on after the latest developments.

Calvert-Lewin set for Italy move after Everton developments
Everton had announced that they were talking to Calvert-Lewin’s representatives (9 June) in their retained list, but that does not seem to tell the full story about the situation.
A report from Paul Joyce after that news was released claimed that a contract offer that was previously given to the former Sheffield United ace was taken off the table after a change in structure behind the scenes.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The Daily Mail has now reported in its print edition (10 June, page 61) that he is unlikely to remain with the Blues and is keen on a transfer to Italy.

Everton should move on from Calvert-Lewin
Calvert-Lewin was considered as one of the most promising English strikers around after he notched 16 top-flight goals in the 2020-21 campaign, even being linked with the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid.
However, he never reached those kinds of numbers again, with injuries and confidence issues taking their toll in a miserable four years after that brilliant campaign.
David Moyes is clearly in the market for a new striker, which suggests that he does not trust the former Three Lions star to rediscover that form anytime soon.
The Scotsman’s side were the fourth-lowest scorers in the division, with only the three relegated teams being less clinical in front of goal, in a damning conclusion for Moyes and Co.
A pursuit of Liam Delap failed, but the Toffees have not given up on securing a new frontman with Villarreal man Thierno Barry reportedly high on their target list, with a £33.7million move ready to be signed off on.
One thing is for sure, Calvert-Lewin is unlikely to stick around this summer and play a part in the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and that is the right move for both parties.
