Enzo Maresca will be determined to strengthen his Chelsea squad this summer. Despite having already welcomed Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr to Stamford Bridge, the Blues have shown no sign of slowing down.
With Jadon Sancho returning to Manchester United and Mykhailo Mudryk still suspended, Jamie Gittens has emerged as a potential target. Mike Maignan also continues to be heavily linked with a move to Chelsea as Maresca hopes to bolster his options at either end of the pitch.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen faces an uncertain future at Napoli following his sour departure to Galatasaray on loan last summer. So, with that being said, football.london has rounded up all the latest Chelsea news and transfer gossip.

Chelsea race to sign Maignan
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and AC Milan are still negotiating a deal for Maignan ahead of Tuesday night's transfer deadline. The report claims the two clubs have been discussing terms for a while now as they each look to find an agreement.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who has recently entered the final 12 months of his contract at the San Siro, is said to be keen on joining the Blues. Romano has reported that Maignan is pushing for a move to Stamford Bridge, but it's up to Chelsea and Milan to finalise a deal.
If the west Londoners can't secure the France international's signature by Tuesday evening, he won't be able to be registered for the Club World Cup. Once the tournament finishes, the transfer window will reopen on June 16 before closing again on September 1.
football.london says: "Mike Maignan would be a superb signing for Chelsea. Robert Sanchez ended the season well, but he cost the Blues far too many points throughout the campaign with silly mistakes and lapses of judgement."
Man City agree shock Chelsea deal
According to GiveMeSport journalist Ben Jacobs, Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea. The 33-year-old goalkeeper joined the Blues in July 2021 following the expiration of his contract at Fulham, and he made just one appearance.
The report claims that Bettinelli is expected to be part of Manchester City's squad at the Club World Cup. The Englishman sees his existing contract at Stamford Bridge expire in June 2026.
football.london says: "It will be a shame to see Marcus Bettinelli leave, having become a key figure behind the scenes, but you can't blame him at all for wanting to move on. At Manchester City, he'll have the chance to work closely with Pep Guardiola – arguably the greatest manager of all time."
Abramovich breaks silence on Chelsea exit
Roman Abramovich wishes to return to Stamford Bridge to 'say a proper goodbye'. The Russian billionaire was forced to sell Chelsea following Russia's invasion of Ukraine three years ago.
During an interview with Nick Purewal in a new book called Sanctioned: The Inside Story of the Sale of Chelsea FC, Abramovich was quizzed on the west London outfit and the future.
"Perhaps one day there would be a situation where I could attend a match and say a proper goodbye, but nothing more than that," said the former Chelsea owner. "I don't have any interest in any role in a football club, certainly not a professional role.
"There might be something where I could help with academies and youngsters, giving greater opportunities to people from difficult backgrounds, if there were an initiative that could make a difference.
"But as for ownership or a professional role at a club, I am done with that in this lifetime."
football.london says: "I hope Roman Abramovich can return to Stamford Bridge one day – as a supporter, of course. He deserves a farewell from the fanbase. As for the new book by Nick Purewal, it looks to be a great read."
