In a proposed blockbuster three-team trade involving the Knicks, Bucks, and Grizzlies, New York would receive Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee would land OG Anunoby, Brandon Clarke, and multiple draft picks, while Memphis would acquire Mikal Bridges.

One team drawing increasing attention as a potential destination for the Greek Freak is the New York Knicks, especially after veteran NBA reporter Gery Woelfel revealed that the Knicks are preparing a "tsunami-type" offer to land Giannis.
Adding more intrigue to the situation, Jason Kidd, who coached Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee from 2014 to 2018, has been linked to the Knicks' head coaching job. If he lands the role, it could further boost New York's chances.
Therefore, Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus floated a blockbuster three-team trade idea that could bring Giannis to Madison Square Garden.
The proposed deal, which would take place in July after the 2025 NBA Draft, involves 12 total assets:
New York Knicks get:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (from Bucks)
Milwaukee Bucks get:
OG Anunoby (from Knicks)
Brandon Clarke (from Grizzlies)
Vince Williams Jr. (from Grizzlies)
GG Jackson II (from Grizzlies)
2026 Washington Wizards protected first-round pick (from Knicks)
2026 first-round swap rights (from Knicks)
2028 protected first-round pick (from Grizzlies)
2030 first-round swap rights (from Knicks)
2032 protected first-round pick (from Grizzlies)

ESPN's Shams Charania earlier reported that the Knicks are on the hunt for a "landmark" player.
As if the buzz weren't loud enough, Giannis recently spoke fondly about playing at MSG during an appearance on his brother's Thanalysis Show.
"I love playing in New York," Giannis said. "I think it just brings the best out of me. I also love when I play for Greece, and I represent my country."
With all these pieces in motion—potential coaching changes, front-office ambitions, and Giannis' own words—the possibility of him suiting up in Knicks blue and orange is starting to feel a little more real.
