Arsenal may be forced to consider making a shocking u-turn with Benjamin Sesko after the striker has been left with a massive decision about his future.
When the transfer window opened at the beginning of June, it immediately became clear that the biggest stories of the summer would centre around the top Premier League clubs looking to sign a new striker.
As it stands, Chelsea have signed Liam Delap, Manchester United have secured a deal for Matheus Cunha, Liverpool are focusing on signing Florian Wirtz, while Arsenal are hoping to complete the signing of Sesko.
However, the Gunners may have to reconsider their pursuit of the Red Bull Leipzig star as a new report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that several other clubs have entered the race for his signature.

Posting on X, Romano confirmed that several clubs from the Saudi Pro League have approached Sesko with important proposals in recent hours, leaving him with a decision about his future.
Although he did not confirm which clubs exactly were interested in signing Sesko or what they were prepared to offer him, Romano did reveal that talks are set to talk place over the coming days.
If he were to decide to join a Saudi club, Sesko would likely become one of the highest paid players in the world, almost certainly earning comfortably more than €500,000.
In doing so, it would leave Arsenal in a massively difficult situation as they would be forced to quickly change their plans and look to sign a different striker over the summer to fix their clear problems up front.

Thankfully for Mikel Arteta, there are several other top strikers that look like they are eager to secure a transfer in the summer, with the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen both seemingly available.
However, a deal for Sesko is not dead yet, as Romano also revealed that he understands that it is the 22-year-old's priority to continue his career in Europe at this stage, meaning it would likely take a breathtaking offer to lure him away from the Premier League.
Sesko has made 45 appearances for RB Leipzig this season in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and assisting six.
