Liverpool have a fair few areas within their squad that need strengthening throughout the summer transfer window.
Arne Slot’s men have already been one of the busiest teams in the window, with Jeremie Frimpong being the first to confirm his Anfield switch.
Florian Wirtz’s Liverpool move also seems to be edging closer, with the transfer of the German being touted as one of the best moves of the window already.
Although both of these players are more than welcome additions, their arrivals alone won’t likely be enough to keep Liverpool competitive, especially with the number of moves their fellow title rivals seem to be looking to make.

So, in reality, it isn’t a surprise to see the rumour mill going into overdrive even though the window isn’t fully open yet.
Milos Kerkez to Liverpool now closer than ever as Bournemouth sign Adrien Truffert
One player who has been consistently linked with an Anfield switch this season is Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
Both Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson have failed to live up to the standards they’ve set themselves over the last couple of seasons and have made left-back one of the weakest areas in Slot’s team.
However, as per a new report from Fabrizio Romano, it feels like Kerkez’s Anfield switch is more or less complete.

Why Milos Kerkez is likely to be a perfect fit for Liverpool
Kerkez has been one of Andoni Iraola’s breakthrough stars this season.
The Cherries have had one of their best seasons in recent memory after they finished ninth in the Premier League.
There was a point when it felt like Bournemouth could secure themselves a European place, but in the end, a top-half finish is what they were left with.
Described as a “powerful” player by former teammate Mat Ryan, and despite being just 22 years old, the Hungary international has all the qualities that the Liverpool manager seems to desire in a left-back.

His keen eye for a pass and ability to chip in with a goal or two when needed are second to none, with his pace also a major bonus.
Only time will tell whether a move will be sanctioned.
Still, with a fee of just £45million being the amount needed to prise Kerkez away from the Vitality, it feels like a no-brainer, especially since Robertson still has a year left on his Liverpool deal.
