Euro club hope to finalize mini-deal for 2x PL winner, player wants Arsenal move – report

Bayern Munich have not given up hope of securing Leroy Sane’s future at Allianz Arena, but several clubs, including Arsenal, are vying for his signature.

Sane will become a free agent in the summer, and he has yet to decide on his next move.

The two-time Premier League winner with Manchester City is keen to join Arsenal as he wants to stay close to his family in London.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their forward department this summer, and they have earmarked Sane as a potential option.

Arsenal have held talks with the German winger’s agent, Pini Zahavi, and they are waiting for his final decision.

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have been linked with a move, but they are less interested in him at the moment.

Sane has already rejected a contract extension offer from the German champions, and it looks likely that he won’t make a decision on his future before Bayern’s departure for the Club World Cup in the USA (June 15 to July 13).

According to a report from Bild, the winger could be offered a mini-contract at least until the end of the Club World Cup.

He has a contract until June 30, and Max Eberl would love to finalise a short-term deal with Sane, which will allow the player more time to consider his future.

Turkish clubs, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, are both interested, with the latter offering him a lucrative deal.

Sane could be tempted to move to the Premier League

The 29-year-old has won four Bundesliga titles and the FIFA Club World Cup with Bayern.

Unless he is motivated to win the Champions League with Bayern, it remains unlikely that he will accept a contract extension at the club.

Arsenal can offer him Champions League football and the opportunity to stay close to his family. They can offer him a tempting wage package, which could entice him to move to England.

Bayern are looking to sign a high-profile winger this summer, and they have been linked with a host of players, including Bradley Barcola.

It looks like Bayern still hope that Sane will stay put, but the entire decision now rests on the German winger.
