Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has been linked with a move away from the club, but the Blues would prefer to sell other players over him.
The 25-year-old has been ever-present for Chelsea since returning from his loan spell midway last season, and he has been very useful for them. The defender has impressed with his performances, and his versatility is a bonus.
Chelsea could sell multiple players this summer.
Chalobah has been an asset
Chalobah is capable of operating as a central defender as well as a full-back. He is an important player for Chelsea, and they are not planning to sell him this summer. Meanwhile, a report from Football Insider claims that several Premier League clubs are keen on him. Italian champions Napoli are monitoring his situation as well.
There is no doubt that the 25-year-old is a quality player, and he has been hailed as “selfless” by former Chelsea manager and club legend Frank Lampard.

Keeping him at the club should be a priority for Chelsea. They will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, and they will look to fight for trophies as well. They need a deeper squad with more quality. Having versatile players like Chalobah at their disposal will be a huge bonus.
Meanwhile, the defender has no reason to leave his boyhood club either. He is unlikely to force an exit despite the interest from multiple clubs.
Chalobah will look to establish himself as an indispensable asset for Chelsea in future. He will hope to guide them back to the top of English football once again. Chelsea have not been at their best in recent seasons, and they need quality players to bounce back. Keeping their best players will be a priority for them as well.
