Arsenal could face strong competition from German giants Bayern to secure William’s signature.
Bayern have been linked with a host of attackers in recent weeks, but they view Williams as a “dream” signing for the club.
The German champions have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, but Christian Falk informed CFBayern that Williams remain their top priority signing this summer.
Sky Germany journalist, Florian Plettenberg, claims that Bayern have intensified talks to sign Williams. The club have held meetings and discussions with the player’s camp.

While Bayern would be willing to pay William’s release clause, his high wage demands could be a big problem for many clubs, including Arsenal.
Plettenberg says that Williams can imagine a move to Bayern, and there have been some developments this week.
Arsenal need to act quickly if they are really interested in signing Williams. It appears that Bayern have taken the initiative to sign the player, and the news should come as a transfer blow to the Gunners.
Bayern should do everything to sign Nico Williams
The German champions have been linked with a move for AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, but Bayern aren’t willing to pay a massive transfer fee for the Portuguese winger.
Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo is another option for Bayern, but the club should do everything to lure Nico Williams away from Bilbao.
The Spain international is a talented young player known for his excellent dribbling skills. He was involved in 10 goals in La Liga last season and has a bright future ahead of him.
Bilbao are under no pressure to sell him, and they are looking to extend his contract at the club with a high wage package.
Williams has the potential to become a real superstar in the future, and Bayern must look to beat Arsenal in the race for his signature.
