Reports have suggested the Paris club is keen to bring Zabarnyi in to strengthen their defence this summer.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that the PSG football advisor, Luis Campos, and the Cherries’ president of football operations, Tiago Pinto, know one another.

The pair have been speaking about Zabarnyi and ‘do not need’ official negotiations to talk about a deal, Ornstein says.
The club are not looking to sell the centre back, particularly after his partner Dean Huijsen completed a move to Real Madrid.
(Image: Richard Crease) Last season was the Cherries’ best ever defensively in the Premier League, conceding 46 goals across their 38 games.
They have already lost Huijsen and may be set to lose left back Milos Kerkez to league winners Liverpool.
Zabarnyi has been an ever-present under Andoni Iraola – playing all but three games in the two seasons the Basque boss has been in charge.
As such, it will take a significant fee to buy the 22-year-old for PSG, particularly as the Cherries will then need to go into the market themselves for multiple centre backs.
Ornstein reports that the move appeals to Zabarnyi, adding that there is a good chance it happens this summer.
But Bournemouth will hold out for a deal which suits them – the Ukrainian’s contract runs until the end of the 2028/29 season, so the ball is in the Cherries court to set the fee they would like for the player.
The remaining centre backs at the club are Marcos Senesi, who featured for much of the first part of the season before picking up an injury in November, James Hill and Owen Bevan.
Bevan did not play at all last season, while Hill played more at right back than at centre back.
