Erling Haaland sends classy message as Man City announce Scott Carson exit, Marcus Bettinelli…

Scott Carson will leave Manchester City upon the expiry of his contract later this month, marking an end to his five-and-a-half year spell at the Etihad Stadium.

Initially signed on a loan deal from Derby County, Pep Guardiola’s men eventually decided to sign the 39-year-old permanently in 2021 and since then, he has been a popular figure in City’s dressing room.

Kyle Walker lauded Carson for his influence on this Sky Blues side behind the scenes as the veteran put a shift in training day in and day out, despite being aware that it was virtually impossible for him to ever start a game.

Pep Guardiola loved Carson’s leadership at Manchester City and credited the Champions League winner for driving the standards high behind closed doors; perfectly playing the role of an experienced head in the dressing room.
