Arsenal are one of several Premier League clubs who have taken an interest in Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga of late, TBR Football can reveal.
Anthony Elanga has just enjoyed a strong season for Nottingham Forest and was a key part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side qualifying for European football next term.
Perhaps Elanga was one of several Forest players ultimately disappointed not to have qualified for the Champions League, but it was still an excellent season at the City Ground.
Across the Premier League campaign, Elanga scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 38 games, an excellent haul for the former Manchester United man.
And now heading into the summer, Forest are understandably determined to keep hold of one of their most promising attackers.
Nottingham Forest have no plans to lose Anthony Elanga despite heavy interest
That being said, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Forest will demand in excess of £60m this summer, were any side to make an approach for Elanga.
However, Forest do not plan to lose Elanga at all, a player who Nuno will continue to build his attack around.

Newcastle United are confirmed admirers of Elanga, and Eddie Howe tried to sign the Forest winger last summer.
And whilst Newcastle’s interest remains, they are not the only Premier League side to have taken a keen interest in Elanga’s progress over the last 12 months.
It’s understood that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Aston Villa have also been watching Elanga closely, a winger with plenty of admirers.
That being said, Elanga is believed to be happy at the City Ground, but it’s also understood that the winger is aware of the interest being shown.
Forest think Anthony Elanga is worth more than Matheus Cunha
On their part, Forest believe that 23-year-old Elanga is one of the top wingers in the Premier League right now.
And should any of the clubs mentioned come knocking, Forest would demand a fee in excess of the deals that Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are potentially about to go for.
Of course, Nuno’s recent ‘special’ praise of Elanga explains exactly why the club are so keen to keep the Sweden international around.
Speaking in April after Elanga scored against his former club Man United in a 1-0 win, Nuno said: “He’s a special boy and he gives this team his speed. He does it by himself and we are delighted.”
A superb talent, and although the likes of Arsenal are looking for a right-footed winger right now, Forest are determined to deter any move for their star man.
