Spanish giants are reportedly ready to go “all out” to sign Luis Diaz and bring him to Camp Nou for the upcoming season.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the La Liga side now considers Diaz their top priority and is seriously pushing to land the Colombian this summer.
As per earlier reports, initial talks between Liverpool and the Spanish club took place last week. But the Merseyside club reportedly rejected the approach as the transfer fee wasn’t enough.
Another club, Al-Nassr, is also competing for the player alongside the Spanish team. The Saudi giants are willing to pay nearly €85 million to sign Diaz and pair him with Cristiano Ronaldo.
After winning the UEFA Nations League with Portugal, Ronaldo confirmed he wants to stay at Al-Nassr. However, the Saudi club still wants Diaz to strengthen their squad, as per multiple reports.
Earlier this week, many sources claimed that Luis Diaz only wants to join the Spanish side if he decides to leave Liverpool. That could be one of the major reasons the club is now preparing to go all out for the Colombian.

Why Barcelona wants to go ‘all out’ for Luis Diaz
The club is looking for a natural left winger this summer as they plan to shift Brazilian winger Raphinha to a central playmaker role.
New manager Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco reportedly like Diaz a lot and have publicly praised him multiple times.
The 28-year-old Colombian could be a perfect fit for the Spanish side, especially as the player himself wants to be part of the project.
Still, several complications could arise. The club has been struggling financially for the past few seasons, facing challenges with registering players and managing big-money signings.
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Arne Slot still considers Diaz a key part of his project for next season. But as of now, it’s a 50-50 situation for both Liverpool and Luis Diaz.
