Man United have been linked to signing Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, to replace Andre Onana.
Manchester United are looking to replace goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer after he had a season filled with mistakes at key moments at the back for the Red Devils.
They have been linked to several world-class keepers over the past few weeks, with Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez and Porto’s Diogo Costa both having been the subject of interest from Old Trafford.

Manchester City have also been linked to Donnarumma, and could offer the pull of Champions League football, which could make it tough for United to persuade him to come to Old Trafford.
Instead, they have now been linked with signing a La Liga star who has won the Spanish top division six times; he is also, like Donnarumma, a Champions League winner.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Man United have joined Galatasaray and Al Hilal in the race to sign Barcelona’s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who could leave the La Liga club this summer after they signed Joan Garcia from Espanyol this month.
The report says that Barcelona is willing to negotiate the departure of Ter-Stegen, but the biggest issue is financial. The German keeper is reportedly demanding full payment of his outstanding salary, with his contract running until 2028. This amounts to a fee of around €42m.
However, Barcelona are reportedly only willing to pay his wages for the rest of the season, meaning that his future remains very uncertain. Ter Stegen will likely leave as a free agent; therefore, if United is willing to pay his wages, they could try to sign the 33-year-old.
Ter-Stegen made just nine appearances for Barcelona last season after suffering an injury; he conceded 11 goals and kept one clean sheet. However, in his career, the German has made over 620 appearances for Barcelona and Borussia Mönchengladbach, conceding 607 goals and keeping 252 clean sheets. He has won La Liga six times with Barcelona.
Man United ‘seriously considering’ £16m goalkeeper
The 32-year-old made 53 appearances in all competitions for Unai Emery’s side last season, conceding 61 goals and keeping 16 clean sheets. He remains one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
With Onana likely to head to the Saudi Pro League, the funds earned from him would likely be enough to fund a move for Martinez, which would be financially beneficial for the Red Devils.
