Report: Gabriel Vidović won’t travel with Bayern Munich, set for move to Dinamo Zagreb

According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Gabriel Vidović’s time at Bayern Munich is about to come to an end.

After much speculation and a few up-and-down loan stints, the 21-year-old will not leave for Florida with the rest of the squad today. Instead, the attacker will join Dinamo Zagreb:

Gabriel Vidović is on the verge of joining Dinamo Zagreb. He will not travel with the team to the US today. Dinamo and Vidović have agreed personal terms. Deal still being finalized between clubs. Expected transfer fee in the low single-digit million range.

Vidović is the latest Bayern Munich academy product, who was just not able to break through the club’s star-studded lineup. Hopefully, this will be just the move he needs to kickstart his career.

The latest edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show has dropped and we have a lot of say! In this episode, we close the book on the German national team and its disappointing performance in the UEFA Nations League Final Four (at least for now). We also discuss Bayern Munich’s quick work to secure Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof for the Club World Cup, while also assessing the viability of Bayern Munich chasing Chelsea FC’s Christopher Nkunku and why that potential move might not be the perfect fit for what Bayern Munich needs.
