Chelsea reportedly decide how they will handle interest in Trevoh Chalobah during the summer transfer window.
When the academy graduate was allowed to join Crystal Palace on loan, it appeared that he had no future under the then recently-appointed head coach Enzo Maresca.
However, after impressing for the Eagles during the first half of 2024-25, Chalobah subsequently returned and re-established himself as a Blues player from January onwards.
A total of 19 appearances were made in all competitions, the last of those outings coming in the Conference League final as Chelsea fought back to overcome Real Betis by a 4-1 scoreline.
Nevertheless, speculation has persisted that co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital may be open to cashing in on the 25-year-old over the coming months.

What is Chelsea's Chalobah stance?
According to Football Insider, Chelsea would now prefer to part ways with other central defenders over Chalobah.
The report alleges that Maresca has now become a growing admirer in the versatile player's qualities both on and off the pitch.
Serie A title winners Napoli are one of the clubs who have been monitoring the situation, their head coach Antonio Conte familiar with Chalobah from his days at Stamford Bridge.
Instead, and likely helped by their lack of need to raise funds in order to comply with the relevant financial regulations this summer, Chalobah appears more likely to stay in West London than leave.
Chalobah, who has three years left on his contract, has accumulated 99 appearances in a Chelsea shirt during his professional career.

Who would Chelsea prefer to sell?
While no specific names are mentioned, bids could be considered for Benoit Badiashile who mainly featured in the Conference League this season.
Meanwhile, Axel Disasi will leave the club on a permanent or temporary basis having failed to earn a switch to Aston Villa after his winter-transfer-window loan move.
A decision will also need to be made on the future of Renato Veiga. The Portugal international is not viewed as a recognised central defender by Maresca, but his stock has risen on loan at Juventus and with his national team.
If Badiashile was to leave, Veiga could theoretically act as competition to Levi Colwill for the left-sided centre-back position.
