Ben Davies has moved into third on our all-time list of players with most international appearances during their time at the club.
The defender captained Wales again on Monday evening in a thriller against Belgium in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying in Brussels. Belgium raced into a 3-0 lead, Wales to pulled it back to 3-3 - **[Brennan Johnson on target with the equaliser](https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2025/june/internationals-brennan-johnson-again-but-wales-lose-thriller-in-belgium/)** - only for Kevin de Bruyne to win it for the Red Devils in the 88th minute.
That was Ben's 96th cap and his 85th since joining us in the summer of 2014. That moves him ahead of Harry Kane, who earned 84 of his 106 caps to date for England between his goalscoring debut for the Three Lions against Lithuania in 2015 and departing for Bayern Munich in August, 2023.
Ben is nine caps behind his friend and team-mate Heung-Min Son, who has earned 94 of his 133 caps for South Korea since joining us in September, 2015.
Topping the list is Hugo Lloris, who earned 107 of his record 145 caps for France during his time at Spurs between August, 2012 and December, 2023, lifting the World Cup as captain in 2018. Jan Vertonghen is the only other player to reach 80-plus caps for his country during his time at Spurs, with 80 of his record 157 caps for Belgium during his time here, 2012-2020.
