Leeds United are claimed to be exploring a deal to sign Anderlecht’s talented attacking midfielder Mario Stroeykens.
While the transfer window is due to shut at 7pm tonight for six days, the club will be working hard this week to pursue targets ahead of July’s pre-season.
Links to signings from far and wide in Europe are already rife and it looks as though the 49ers are getting to work with potential exciting targets.

Leeds United exploring deal to sign Anderlecht starlet Mario Stroeykens
Attacking midfield is going to be a position of interest for Leeds throughout this summer after trying and failing to add in that position ever since Daniel Farke took over.
The latest name to come under consideration is Anderlecht talent Mario Stroeykens, according to Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri:
“Leeds United are targeting Mario Stroeykens! Interested in the Belgian’s profile, the Peacocks have started initial discussions around personal terms. No offer (yet) made in #RSCA.”

He claims that Leeds are interested in the Belgian attacking midfielder’s ‘profile’ this month, and have started initial discussions with the player over personal terms.
No bid has been lodged yet to the Belgian giants over their 20-year-old breakout talent, who managed five goals and seven assists in all competitions last season.
Leeds’ interest in the youngster comes alongside West Ham also being keen on signing him, suggesting a hectic summer awaits for the Belgian.
Mario Stroeykens: A talented player and an intriguing link for Leeds United in attacking midfield
Without extensive research of the Belgian Pro League, you can’t really pass a great deal of judgement on a player.
However, everything that is coming out about Stroeykens points to him being a seriously talented player not only with the ball at his feet, but mature without it too in his defensive work.
Signing a 20-year-old in a crucial position this summer could represent something of a risk, but Belgium has been a hot bed of talent for years now, and Leeds could be getting a gem if they pursue this deal.
