Paul Pogba appears to take swipe at Man United with'feels good'reply to Bruno Fernandes

Paul Pogba’s Manchester United career ended in a whimper with the French midfielder making a frosty exit from Old Trafford.

The £89m spent on Paul Pogba in 2016 remains Manchester United’s record transfer signing to date.

Paul Pogba returned to play under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford four years after leaving United to join Juventus as a free agent.

His second stint in Manchester lasted six years and was filled with plenty of highs and lows including Pogba suffering with “depression” under Mourinho.

In 2022, Pogba once again left United as a free agent and signed with Juventus. Since then, Pogba received a doping ban and he is yet to sign with a new club.

Paul Pogba aims dig at Man United to Bruno Fernandes

During their time together in Manchester, Pogba and Bruno Fernandes became close and built up a strong relationship both on and off the pitch.

Bruno Fernandes has become what many hoped Pogba would be at Old Trafford – a brilliant leader and a mega-star capable of leading the side to trophies.

Just this week, Fernandes starred as Portugal won the Nations League, and Pogba was quick to reply to his celebratory post on Instagram.

When Fernandes posted a photo of himself holding the Nations League trophy, Pogba replied in the comments: “National teams feels good hun 😂 bravo fra 👏”.

Many United fans in the comments picked up on Pogba’s comment being a dig towards United and their trophyless season after losing the Europa League final.

Pogba won the World Cup and Nations League with France during a time where United were struggling for success with him in midfield.

Bruno Fernandes still has faith in Man United’s success

Fernandes is five and a half years into his United career, and he has once again decided to stick with the club’s rebuilding project.

This summer, Fernandes rejected Al-Hilal’s offer to play in the Saudi Pro League on what would have been triple his current wages.

Ruben Amorim was desperate for Fernandes to stay, and the 30-year-old midfielder proved his loyalty to the club and his coach by staying put at Old Trafford.

Fernandes has a contract valid until 2027 but if anyone in the squad is deserving of a new bumper deal, it is the captain.

Amorim is looking to rebuild United and return them to the top of English football and Fernandes has shown full faith in that project being successful.

While Pogba bowed out of his United career by limping off 10 minutes into a clash against Liverpool, Fernandes is on track to becoming a club legend.
