Papers: Barca to go ‘all out’ for Diaz despite €80m price tag

Barcelona’s hunt for a new left winger continue to make plenty of headlines with Luis Diaz still the club’s top target despite a lofty price tag.

The Liverpool forward is on the front page of Mundo Deportivo on Tuesday, with a new report that says Barcelona will go all out for the Colombian and are not thinking about Nico Williams anymore.

MD report Barca think they can get Diaz this summer because Liverpool will need to make sales after splashing out heavily on Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong. Diaz’s recent comments that he’s “talking to other clubs” has also gone down well in Catalunya.

Diario Sport are also reporting on Diaz and state the signing is “heating up” as Barca try to find a way to make the deal financially possible.

Liverpool want around €80 million for Diaz this summer, a figure Barcelona won’t reach, but they are confident the price will come down if they are patient as the forward wants the move.
