Barcelona stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen says he’s NOT leaving the Camp Nou this summer, amid the latest reports that the likes of Chelsea are very much interested in getting a transfer deal done.
Winning a trophy and getting Champions League football last season is more than what many people had planned for Chelsea and Enzo Maresca, but the Italian boss really has done a great job at the club.
But there have been many reports in the media that we are looking to improve a number of areas in the squad and adding a new stopper to the side is something that will reportedly help us really win that Premier League title.
Robert Sanchez has been a massive part of that side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that we will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, With Ter Stegen one of the many names linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge.
However – amid all the speculation and rumours, ter Stegen says he’s NOT leaving the Camp Nou this summer: He said: “Nobody has spoken to me.
“I know I’ll be in Barcelona next year. Barca is one of the biggest clubs, and competition is normal.
“For me, the situation isn’t changing. I’m extremely excited about next season with a team that’s very young, dynamic, and hungry.”

Chelsea will sign a new goalkeeper this transfer window, they will get somebody to come in that will be an upgrade on Sanchez, Ter Stegen wants to stay at Barca, that will happen unless the Blues offer a massive amount of money that cannot be refused.
It will be interesting to see just who CHELSEA end up with that is for sure.
