Joan Garcia’s agents are in Barcelona to close a deal for the Espanyol goalkeeper to move to the Camp Nou, according to multiple reports.
An agreement has already been reached with the stopper to join Hansi Flick’s side, and Barcelona are now expected to pay his €25 million release clause.

Garcia will then put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with the Catalan giants.
The 24-year-old therefore looks like being the first arrival of Barcelona’s summer transfer window, with the Catalans also hoping to sign a left winger as well.
Barcelona are also currently working hard on exits to free up space on the wage bill and improve their financial situation.
Clement Lenglet and Alex Valle have already waved goodbye to the Catalan giants and there are likely to be a few more departures before the start of the new campaign.
Garcia’s arrival will also give Marc-Andre ter Stegen a big decision to make, particularly as it has been reported he will not be first or even second choice next season.
