Manchester United are pushing to offload Alejandro Garnacho this summer as the young winger has no place at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim.

The pair’s relationship has completely broken down as reported by CentreDevils, following a public bust-up between the player and manager.

Garnacho used the Europa League final post-match interview to undermine Amorim’s decision to drop the star from his starting squad.

Not wanting to let it slide, Amorim addressed the 20-year-old in front of his teammates in training, saying “you better pray that you can find a club to sign you”.

Since then, Chelsea and Arsenal have reportedly enquired about the Argentina international, hoping to keep him in the Premier League next season.

However it appears that long-term front runners Napoli are letting go of their lead, reportedly having no further interest in signing the winger.

A new name entering the race however is Bayer Leverkusen, with new manger Erik ten Hag looking to bring about a reunion with his former star.

Alejandro Garnacho rose to fame under ten Hag at Old Trafford, winning the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Puskas Award under the Dutch manager.

Now, with Florian Wirtz on the brink of a move to Liverpool, Leverkusen are desperate for a new attacker, with the Bundesliga side making enquiries about the 20-year-old according to Bild.

However, the conversations haven’t gotten off the ground as United are holding out for £38 million for the talented winger, which Leverkusen are unlikely to want to match.

As such, Leverkusen might be back to the drawing board to pursue one of their other targets, whilst United are still searching for a new home for their rebelling winger.
